Phishing is the act of attempting to acquire information such as usernames, passwords, and credit card details by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication.
Phishing emails may contain links to websites that are infected with malware.
Phishing is typically carried out by email spoofing or instant messaging, and it often directs users to enter details at a fake website whose look and feel are almost identical to the legitimate one.
Phishing is an example of social engineering techniques used to deceive users and exploits the poor usability of current web security technologies.
Attempts to deal with the growing number of reported phishing incidents include legislation, user training, public awareness, and technical security
measures.
Steps to create Facebook Phishing Site:
1) Go to the Facebook Log-in page (
www.facebook.com) and then right click on the page, you will see the option
view page source, click on that.
2) Now a New Tab will open which contain a full source code of Facebook log in page. Copy all the source code and paste it in a Notepad.
3) In a Notepad press
CTRL + F and type
action.
4) You have to find a text which looks
like this...

https://www.facebook.com/login.php?login_attempt=1"
5) Now you have to delete all the text written in black colour and instead of it write
login.php.
Then it will look like this..
action="login.php"
6) Now save it anywhere in your desktop with the name index.htm
7) Your Phishing page is ready, when you save index.htm in your Desktop it will look like a pic given below..
8) Now download login.php from here
9) You have got two files now one is index.htm and another one is login.php
10) You have to upload those two files in a web hosting site, i prefer http://www.000webhost.com
11) You have to create account in www.000webhost.com
12) After creating account in 000webhost.com, you will get verification link on your registered email ID, go through that link and complete your registration.
After that go to
CPannel
13) After that go to
File Manager
14) If you're ask to install/log in, just install file manager/enter your password and log in there.
15) After that go to
public_html
16) Delete the file named
default.php, after that upload two files from your desktop
index.htm and
login.php to public_html folder
17) Click on
Open of
index.htm
You will see your phishing page which looks like a
Real Facebook Login page.
18) Copy the URL of that phishing page and send that link to your victim, when your victim try to log in to it with his/her "username" and "password", the page will redirect him/her to facebook.
Victim's "Email ID" and "Password" will be store in a new file named usernames.txt
19) If you want to see your victim's
Email I.D and
Password then sign in to your 000webhost Account
http://www.members.000webhost.com and go to CPanel > File Manager > public_html >
usernames.txt
20) Just click on
View of
usernames.txt to see your Victim's Email ID and Password.
